Philapi is a product developed and manufactured by WS FAR IR MEDICAL Co., LTD, which was founded in Taiwan in 1990. Philapi Medical Co., Ltd. was established in 2017.

Philapi is a type of phototherapy or physical therapy that uses infrared rays of a specific wavelength. It is expected to be effective for various symptoms of non-heat therapy using invisible light. More than 20 years have passed since many hemodialysis facilities adopted vascular access care devices. It is widely recognized to be effective in relieving pain in dialysis patients, and many improvements have been reported in the field of foot care.

Filapy, which is popular in many countries other than Taiwan, has already undergone various clinical studies. In pursuit of the mechanism of action, research papers have been published one after another not only from Taiwan but also from countries around the world, attracting international attention. In recent years, he has given lectures and poster presentations at many academic societies in Japan, including the Japan Society for Dialysis Therapy and regional conferences.
